Before You Start: Practical Requirements

Facilitator Setup

The exercise is run directly by the facilitator from their own computer while managing the session from the stage. This is an interactive experience and not a PowerPoint presentation.

The facilitator actively uses the mouse and keyboard arrows to navigate through scenarios, make decisions, and control the flow of the exercise. Therefore, the presentation setup must allow full control of the facilitator's computer throughout the session.

Venue Requirements

To run the exercise successfully, the following connections must be available on stage:

  • HDMI or USB-C connection for displaying the facilitator's screen

  • Audio output through the venue's sound system, as the exercise includes sound effects that are an important part of the experience

Participant Requirements

Participants join the exercise individually using their own devices.

  • A QR code will be displayed on the main screen by the facilitator.

  • Participants scan the QR code using using a smartphone or tablet (you can also join manually from web browser)

  • Each participant joins and interacts with the exercise independently through their own device.

  • Internet access is required for participants to take part.
